Hello! I'm Katie. My life's passion is the process and product of memory-making meals. This has been my passion for as long as I can remember-- since I was a little girl wearing an oversized apron standing on a stepstool next to my mother in the kitchen. We would bake and cook for our large family for hours on end, and I would enjoy every minute of it!
I pursued my passion for food and the community that revolves around the dinner table by earning my Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management. Along the way I learned many aspects of the work involved in creating culinary experiences through on-the-job training. I've filled routine orders of pastries and cakes in restaurants, served hundreds of bacon-wrapped dates and stuffed mushrooms at a time for catering companies, and chewed through nitty-gritty details about hors d'ouevres and place settings in the board room with event planning committees.
In the midst of all of these varied experiences, I fell in love with what drew me to this industry in the first place-- memory-making meals. As your personal chef it is my great privilege to help you create community over a shared meal with the people you care about.
